CRITERIA FOR GRAPHING
- or how to create a great graph
1. Give graph a clear, informative title
2. Label horizontal axis (Y axis) and vertical axis (x axis) with clear heading including units.
3. Check that scale is labelled accurately on lines. Keep scale consistent.
4. Both X and Y axis begin at "0".
5. For line graphs, plot points accurately and join with a smoothly drawn, freehand curve.
6. Include a key if more than one feature is being graphed.
7. Use pencil.
